CycleFinish paint job done
It is done! My ST1300 is now a nice yellow.
I previously posted about concerns with CycleFinish. He originally told me it would be 2-3 weeks to get the bike in to the shop at all, due to his workload. After 4 weeks, I started trying to contact him, and was getting no answer / no reply / nobody @ the shop. That is when I started looking again for more options.
Shortly after that, he did respond, and we scheduled to bring the bike in a week later. Estimate was 2 weeks; with pickup in 2 weeks and 2 days (long story about my bay area commute schedule here). He ended up needing a third week. Suck.
All that said, when I actually got the bike, holy crap did it look great. I would use him again (and probably will for the wife's bike). The wait was worth it. That said, here are the notes I have:
- Bobby Keith's work was impeccable.
- His dog, at the shop, is quite nice.
- His location is in Menlo Park, CA - mid peninsula.
- His avaiability is tight.
- Don't plan on rushing, in fact, pad your schedule.

My wife and I both ride '04 ST1300s and we have found the paint the worst we have experienced on a motorcycle. I have been riding since 1961 and have never owned a bike with a worst paint job (very soft).
Unfortunately I live in a remote part of New Mexico and have no availibility of paint shops. But soon we will be moving and then I will look one up.
I am impressed with the work you had done. You should be proud. And Honda should take note. Silver and dark blue do not go with a sport tourer like the ST...period.
Each to their own, but that's a shocker. You took a beautiful Blue paint job and made it look like a AAA breakdown assistance bike.
You need help.
and just to add Kern, you've got to be kidding, proud he should be ashamed, and as for that sh!t about "Silver and dark blue do not. . . . . " go shove your head in the sand please. That's why america has no impact on the global bike or car market, you've got no taste, period !

Awsome! I painted my bike in the exact same color scheme and not only does it look hot, it stopped people from pulling out in front of me or changing lanes without seeing me. Your bike looks fast just sitting there. Maybe I should sell my bike and buy an ST. Hope you don't mind if there are 2 yellow ST's out there.
